Design

A high-end magnesium alloy delivering durability in a lightweight body.
The beautiful organic EL panel displays important shooting information at a glance.
The design is throughly pursued to meet it's slim, compact form.
This is truly the inception of a 360° camera that brings you a joy to own.
Magnesium body
Very lightweight, durable magnesium alloy is used for the camera body. It maintains a high level of rigidity and produces a high-end exterior along with the textured coating.
Slim lightweight body
The RICOH-original triple bend optical structuring technology is employed on the lens unit for superb space saving. Despite having an authentic-sized 1.0-type sensor, THETA Z1 has a slim body design that is a mere 24 mm* thick. *Excluding the lens.
Organic EL panel
The compact body is equipped with an organic EL panel. This feature displays shooting information at a glance, such as remaining battery life, shooting mode, remaining shots, F-number, and the ISO sensitivity value.
Fn (Function) button
A new Fn button is also adopted. On-body operation easily switches between regular shooting and self-timer shooting. It is also possible to switch organic EL panel display modes, 3 plug-ins, and light/sound off mode.
Metal tripod hole
The new tripod mount hole is made of metal for use in more harsh environments, providing excellent durability.
USB 3.0 (Type-C) supported
Supports the next generation standard USB 3.0 (Type-C) to achieve an even better transfer speed. As the connector shape is symmetry it can be plugged in either way.
